Tingvoll Solar and Bioenergy Centre

The Tingvoll Solar and Bioenergy Centre is a regional centre of expertise, with the aim of increasing awareness and knowledge about solar and bioenergy. The centre also contributes to promoting sustainable energy use. It consists of full-scale biogas, woodchip-burning and solar heating facilities, as well as a demonstrational solar electricity plant. A wind turbine is under construction. The centre arranges courses, workshops and guided tours, and also enables research to be conducted using its different facilities.
